Website upgrade for Heritage Lincolnshire
A labour of love! The old technology behind the original site we built for Heritage Lincolnshire back in 2014 was becoming restrictive. The PHP version was also stuck in the past, posing an increasing security and performance risk. So an upgrade was on the cards and presented an opportunity to refresh the look and feel, review the site’s structure and improve the messaging behind the charity’s work. Discussions started about the project in early 2019, with development running alongside the old website for two years (due to the pandemic) until the careful transition from old to new in 2021.
